In the twillight of a metamorphosis

"This amazing story called life..."
A journey from the peak of a tree to the deep of the sea. Each sculpture has its own story to tell. Its own energy and connection. Representing pride the scars of life. Creating an awareness of the beauty beneath the surface. A mirror of our soul at the center of our humanity.

Coral
Sensitive but yet so strong. These beautiful structures are collected from the beach of Tulum. After a storm, they get washed ashore. I try to save them from being destroyed in the process of beach cleaning.

About the process / Jungle Atelier
Surrounded by elephant trees in the middle of the jungle. The Jungle around my atelier carries very tranquil and beautiful energy, in the middle of the wild, humble and pure in its existence.

Driftwood
For me, this part of the sculpture is very fascinating. Some pieces are hundreds of years old, some travelled all seven seas. Imagine what they have seen. Imagine the energy they provide.

Sculptures vs. Bodegon vs. Ikebana
"arranging flowers" or "making flowers alive" is the Japanese art of flower arrangement. It is also known as Kadō (華道, "way of flowers"). The tradition dates back to the 7th century when floral offerings were made at altars.

Awareness
I see them as ambassadors from a hidden world in acute danger. What will happen, If we don't comply with mother nature in a more balanced way, we for sure, don't wanna know for real?
Please support with me Stephen Rodan in his efforts to save the corals.

About my intension
I needed to bring life to a Story itself. Creating my own language, a product, a sculpture, truly pure and innocent. Developing my way to interact with the world.
Well, in the end, I tell my own story with a piece of wood, a coral and a light. It's A story about values and transformation.
